With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Lived Experience Addiction Counsellor
Sarah Montes is a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (RPC, MPCC) and a Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor (CCAC) whose personal journey of transformation fuels her deep passion for supporting others on their path to recovery. With lived experience shaped by a family history of addiction, Sarah brings a unique, empathetic understanding of the complexities surrounding substance use and mental health challenges.
Her professional experience spans leadership and clinical roles, including management positions in withdrawal management services and frontline counselling in residential treatment programs. These roles have strengthened her expertise and reinforced her belief in each person’s ability to heal and rebuild.
As the founder of Sarah’s Recovery Services, Sarah provides a compassionate and empowering space where individuals and families can rediscover hope and resilience. She is also a dedicated Addiction Counsellor at EPIC Recovery, The Stable Grounds, and Evolve Psychotherapy & Consulting Group Inc.
Sarah’s work extends beyond individual support—she is an advocate, mentor, and leader in the addiction counselling field. Through clinical practice and community engagement, she remains committed to guiding others toward recovery with dignity, strength, and unwavering support.
